How does one get employed at a fortune 100 company/top investment firm like Goldman Sachs for example?

Goldman Sachs seemed to come up a lot during researching this stuff. (I'm 17 in NYC and looking into career paths.)
As far as I can tell, get an MBA...and get recruited, but that is probably naive.
Any answers are much appreciated.
I would say I've got a "millionaire mind" FWIW from reading the book and whatnot.

1. Yeah Connections is a big thing. My brother actully landed an interview with goldman sachs, he didnt get it but it helped that he knew someone there. (sry i know that didnt help you)

Buttt def post your resume at as many different places as possible like monster.com or any of those big online resume places.

Go to company websites and see if they have any job openings in the field your looking for

you said your 17, i dont know if your in college or not, but a lot of time colleges have job fairs where big companies do show up. Or ask your school advisor

Or show up in person to the company you like if your close, and there are many in NYC and ask them in person.
