How can I overcome the depression from being transsexual?

I can't go with transition. But I just don't want to commit suicide.
I think this depression caused by being transsexual and will not fade away since i solve this problem (I mean transition)
Is it possible to not transition, but kill this damn depression for lifetime?

1. transition is the only treatment for transsexualism that works.

why can't you transition? what's the problem?

2. see a therapist asap

3. I think you should go to group therapy with other transsexuals let them help you. Go to a bar with other transsexuals and let them show you how they have dealt with their depression, and how they have excepted themselves.
Usually this depression can be caused from two things you just have not Truly dealt with the change or you're now afraid no one will love you. Someone will love you, but love takes time. No one can help you be okay with this you just need to except your life now!!!

4. I think you may need some professional help with dealing with your depression. It's also a good idea to find a support group and socialise with other transsexuals (pre and post). Perhaps although you are not considering transition as an option, you could move a little closer towards it (maybe hormones without surgery, hair removal, invest in clothing/grooming that feels closer to your true self). The choice of whether to transition or not may not be so set in concrete if you spend time with others who have had to consider the decision themselves. When you're on a difficult path a bit of company is always a good idea.

5. I once looked down at people who want to commit suicide, thinking "who in the world would want to kill themselves if they have life?". Then one day I started going through a rough patch in life and those thoughts started running through my mind, it was horrible. To get rid of the depression I looked at what I had. I'm not religious, but they would be called blessings; the ability to see and hear while others can't (my baby brother for one is in risk of losing his hearing as he gets older...he's only 5 and won't get to experience music like I have). And being proud of who you are, what your views are and such. I still look down on those who commit suicide, and if they say I don't understand, well yes, I do, how can you end something so precious? Know that you will overcome the depression, and you must want to get over it.
