Would a liberal arts education be better for a person with an entrepreneurial mindset?
Throughout my life, I have always been the kind of person who has wanted to be 'their own boss.' I always have ideas for companies as well, most of which I do not have the resources to develop. Would a liberal arts education do more to allow this mindset to flourish? Or would a technical university do the same thing? Thanks!
Specifically I am talking about two very good schools, one high end university, one high end liberal arts college

1. Depends how your grades are honestly. If you receive 90s and whatnot, a high-end university should accept you. Get a business degree from there and you can partner in a business easily if it's a top-notch university (I'm in Canada so my top-notch is not American top-notch).
Bachelor's in Business Administration would definitely be useful seeing as you will be running a business and this will give you the necessary knowledge required in business. Commerce is the same thing just a fancier name.
EDIT: If you're talking about very good schools, I'd say go for a general business degree. Like I said a BBA will give you the skills required to run a company. Seeing as you want to be your own boss you will learn some of the necessary skills required for an owner/CEO/CFO etc.
Liberal Arts is very vague...and to be honest, if your business doesn't work out (hey it happens, you never know), with a business degree you can work for a small company as a partner or "higher" end position....Would you want someone with a liberal arts degree handling your finances or someone with a BBA from a reputable university?
