Do you agree that poverty can be alleviated by having an entrepreneurial mindset?

Most people believe that employment can be the primary source of financial support for the family. Not known to many that we are making other people richer by giving them our ideas and/or human strength. Once exhausted, we are left with nothing but a mere share on our salary and worst if we were not able to anticipate our health condition; we will just be at the mercy of our social security benefit and health care being not active anymore. Having the entrepreneurial mindset; ideas will be abundant and can be converted to financial resource. Having these ideas, one can be productive and be more financially active without exerting too much effort. Having your own business as a result of your ideas will definitely enrich you and the people working with you. Every development needs a change.

1. I disagree that this eliviates poverty. It takes more than ideas to reduce poverty.

2. I do not believe that poverty is correlated to mindset whatsoever. Changing mindset may help people in poverty accept or live with it. However, the problem with poverty and owning a business is that almost all start up businesses require some initial investment. It's that initial investment part that makes business ownership, well, unlikely, for people living in poverty.

3. While an entrepreneurial mindset can certainly work in one's favor, education is a key building block.

You can have the best idea out there to make money, but if you can't do basic math, read a contract, or do research - can you bring that idea to fruition?
