How can I adopt a positive mindset when running as I find it hard to keep going and stay relaxed?
I am very fit and train 6 days a week both in the gym and running. However I have a 5 mile mountain race on this week and, when i run, I always seem to find it hard to get my psyche right. Like It's almost like i feel depressed running because its so hard to go fast on hills. What should i be saying to myself to stay relaxed, motivated and composed

1. Have confidence on your training and conditioning. You need to train on hills. If you run a given pace on the flat it will feel slow to run a slower pace on the hills but anybody will be slower on the hills, you need to find a pace that will acceptable on the hills.
