How do you do positive thinking and can you give some examples?
I think I know how but im so out of practice I need some examples to learn from!

3. thinking on the optimistic side of life, being understanding of people and life and seeing the sunshine in people instead of vile things or corruptive influences.
4. one tool is re-framing. Say for instance that your friend cancels a lunch date, instead of thinking about the loss of social contact, say "well now I have time for those personal pursuits I've been meaning to get to." personal pursuits like a hobby or a book or exercise.

6. Count your blessings and the good things in your life is a way to start. Appreciate nature as its beauty is all around you. A smile from a stranger is a nice thing. Start small and appreciate the smallest things. Don't dwell on the bad things as eventually you will overcome them.
7. It's simple, really.
You just need to re-shape your view on events that occur, & things that happen.
Say you get hit by a car.
Stay positive,
You get to go in the back of an ambulance!
Just have a positive view on things.
Another good way is at the end of the day before you go to sleep,
Think of 1 thing,
that went really well that day.
Something that made you smile,
Somebody that made you laugh,
& trust me there is always something,
that you will think of.

8. Here's an example. You drive into the parking lot of a store and realize that it's packed. There are so many cars that there are no spots anywhere near the door. In this situation a person could react in many different ways. The person could take a very negative attitude and say something very self-pitying like, "Oh, man, I never get the good parking spots!" or be angry and say, "Dammit, why is everyone always ruining my plans for the day?!" If a person has a positive attitude, she finds a spot at the end of the parking lot and says, "Awesome, right next to one of the cart returns!" or, "Excellent! I'm going to get about an extra hundred steps of exercise from this parking spot and I don't even have to get on a treadmill!"
Positive attitudes are about seeing everything to your advantage. For a good example, watch the old Disney film, _Polly Anna_. It's a bit silly, but she has the idea with that whole "Glad Game" thing. Another film you might watch if you're looking for a more agressive sort of positive attitude is _The Secret_.
9. think good thoughts no matter what. for eg. instead of thinking "damn, why did this happen to me? i'm so unlucky" think "oh well i can't change what happens to me but i can learn from this experience and move on". sometimes you'll find it hard to be constantly cheery and optimistic but just take a deep breath, smile and convince yourself otherwise. you'll be surprised how much a deep breath and a smile/laugh help actually.
10. Positive thinking means finding one good things in hundreds of bad things in any conditions..like if you got no frndz of gf or bf and if u have good family then u dnt have to feel sad..the problem is that we dnt enjoy what we got in present, we regret past or worry much abt future..change the thing u can control nt the whole world..so,change urself the world will change automatically..
