Teachers, do you treat your C students like they might be future millionaires?

According to Dr. Thomas J. Stanley's book The Millionaire Mind, the average GPA was a 2.92. That was after an extensive survey of over 1000 millionaires. Do they get the push and attention like your A students?

1. yes... yes they do

2. I second person with no name.

Can anyone answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111227144329AAuFCGU

3. Why should we? The average salary of a C student in high school is less than 30k a year. Only a few will ever become millionaires (and in my experience, they're mostly jerks) and none of them ever give money to their old teachers, nor do we really care what happens to the jerks.

4. Not as millionaires, but as productive members of society. It's character that matters, not what they have or possible will have (financially) in the future that matters. I try to instill the importance of hard work, diligence, and truthfulness to name a few. If they become millionaires, that is great. But what matters most is the foundation of character.
