How can I maintain this personality mindset?
I'm starting a new personality tomorrow. And it'll be "myself." I want to stay positive, don't complain, do impressions of people, point out obscurities, choose my words very carefully and don't speak unless I know what I say is going to be 100% intended. How can I maintain this personality mindset? I always end up saying something that doesn't make sense and I feel stupid.

1. Listen kid, the only thing that makes the social sciences interesting is peoples interpretations. You could shut up fear sounding stupid and just soak up other peoples ideas then repeat them. Yeah, cool but that is not what you think. To shut up is to be shut up.
Sound stupid, feel stupid, as long as your spouting you. Keep saying whats on your mind don't make sense, get lost in your own train of thought. Cause the only thing that will make you be an intellectual is for you to have your own interpretation of history. Create your own history, philosophy, ideology, based on your experiences, knowledge and heritage.
Go ahead man say what is on your mind even if you don't have your ideas 100% formulated, because that is the only way you will get ideas that are yours.
2. What you're wanting to do is establish a new habit, whether it's the Real You or not, so you just have to do that. I don't know about the pointing out of obscurities, cause mostly that just irritates people, but if that's your thing, go with it. And, listen, what you say doesn't have to be 100% right, it just has to be close. Humans don't come in 100% right, anyway, since lots of what wants to come out of our mouths is just subjective, and that's always right for you, no matter how hinked are your facts.
First off, don't try to do it all at the same time, just pick one and work on that till you do it without effort, then move on to point #2. One step at a time, which is the major factor (time, that is) of habit.
Two, don't stick to a new behavior if it develops that it doesn't suit you. Determination is one thing; stubbornness is another.
Three, stop along the way to establishing these new habits, and evaluate whether this is really pleasing to you. If not, don't be too proud to modify or jettison altogether. The important thing is to be a happy and productive person.
