Law of Attraction Dealing With Personal Issues?
I have always been a big believer in the law of attraction....but how can I attract positive things into my life when I have so many negative child hood experiences.
As a little kid I was constantly teased on. For example people use to call me stupid, they use to make fun of the way I talked, I still remember people laughing at me when asking a question in class.
All these things add up and this isn't even half of it. I have so many insecurities that push me back from my child hood experiences. Anytime I tell myself I can change I can be a better person my insecurities come flying at me like a ton of bricks pushing me back down.
I want to change...but I just don't know how...Please help....

1. The "law of attraction" isn't really a philosophical issue other than some people having the philosophy that it works and others being of the opinion that it doesn't. The law of attraction has far more to do with psychology and spirituality, and those are the forums you should consider asking in. Philosophically, while you may have the desire to change, you must first know exactly what changes you want to make and then you need the courage of your convictions and the willpower to achieve them. The mechanics of how one goes about that is, once again, found in the realm of philosophy and spirituality.
2. The thoughts that you feed get bigger and you're feeding the ones you don't like. I was treated horribly by my classmates and was considered stupid by most, but it doesn't haunt me because I don't dwell on those thoughts. Maybe a bit more information about how it works will help.
Your predominant thoughts create your reality. For instance, if you think that most people are nice, you will not only see the nice side of people but your subconscious mind will go to work to draw more nice people into your life to support your thinking. Those nice people will even be drawn to you because you'll be subconsciously doing the things that attract them. Your thinking has literally made most people in your world nice. So, using the law of attraction to your advantage is all about getting your thinking in line with your desires.
This means you may need to start changing your thinking. When you're focused on lack, you will find more things to complain about not having. So in order to start having more things in your life to be grateful for, start a gratitude journal. Write down one thing every day that you're grateful for then read the list and then concentrate on feeling grateful. At the end of the week, date it and start over. Later on you’ll be able to use this as a reference to measure your progress.
There are many ways to get your thoughts in line with your desires. The trick is to fool your subconscious into believing that you think a certain way so that it will go to work to make it true for you. Affirmations are a good way to do this. By repeating a phrase with feeling about ten times, once or twice daily for a couple of months, your subconscious will start believing it’s true. When I say with feeling, I mean like you’re trying to convince a casting director that you’re right for the part in the biggest movie ever. You’re trying to convince your subconscious so monotone won’t cut it. They also need to be said in the present tense (as if it’s already true) and in the positive (never say, “I’m not going to _______ anymore” or things like that). Anything you do this with will become true, so have fun with it. Things like “Everyday life gets easier for me” and, “My thoughts are in line with my desires” are very powerful affirmations.
Visualization helps tremendously. Picture yourself in scenarios that make you happy. If it's friends you want to attract, close your eyes and picture yourself surrounded by friends laughing and talking with you. If it's a girlfriend/boyfriend you want to attract, picture yourself doing romantic things together. If you want it, visualize it.
Use your creativity to your advantage. When you’re creating, you're engaging the part of the brain that creates your reality. If you can paint what you want, paint it. If you're a writer, write it. Explore using your creative side to express your desires. It's very powerful.
You also want to feed your mind a diet of inspiring material. Read inspirational books, watch inspirational movies and documentaries. Fill your head with positive input instead of garbage TV. Read up on people who are good at what you want to do and who you want to be like. Tune out the negative crap and negative people.
Once you trick your subconscious into believing your new reality, pay attention to signs. Your subconscious will start leading you to your desires so when more than one thing points in a direction, go in that direction. If you keep running into someone, engage them in conversation. If two people talk to you about a book or a movie, read it or see it.
You can have, be, or do anything in this life. Because most people don't realize that, they settle. I have given you the diet and exercise regimen for the law of attraction. It's no more complicated than that. Anyway that you can think in line with the way you want to be, rather than the way the person you’ve been settling for has, do it. You are your thoughts. I can see where you’re coming from, but you have to let go of all the bad memories to be able to move on with your life. Past is past, don’t burden yourself with it because it will and it can never help you move on.
Choosing your thoughts carefully at all times is a wise move. If you choose positive thoughts to think about at all times, the greater our chance is to achieve positive things in life. Same goes with your desires. If you choose to think of your desires and imagine yourself already enjoying that desire now and then, it should come to you faster.
You have to learn to control your emotions, once you feel bad and once you remember your past, do your best to forget it and erase it on your mind as quickly as possible, you know why? Emotions play a big role in making the Law of Attraction work to give you what you want. The strength of your emotion determines the speed with which your desire is going to appear in your reality. This principle is in effect whether you think of positive or negative things. You have to choose your thoughts wisely in order for you to live a life that you will enjoy.
Your thoughts have an equivalent physical manifestation. So make sure that you make time everyday even for just a few minutes to continuously think of positive things and to think of your desire as already a part of your reality. This is necessary because of you keep on thinking of wanting something; you are going to attract more wanting into your life.
Now that you know the secret, use them. All of us have the right to live the life of our dreams. The Law of Attraction is not just for a few people to enjoy, so start manifesting your desires now by bringing your thoughts to life using your emotions and with the help of the Law of Attraction.
