How to keep a positive mental mindset?

After my wrestling scrim on saturday i felt great and confident. I just got back from the gym and im starting to think negative. How do you keep a positive mental mindset?

1. Staying positive all the time is not a good idea at all. Most people that always seem happy always have something biting them in the back of their mind all the time, and those are the people that end up on the news because they "snapped" and no one knows why! It's ok to feel down every so often, this is simply how life works. You must have an equal balance of positive and negative feelings; too much of either can have serious downsides. So if you feel down, just say to yourself "ok, i feel kind of shitty today, but whatever! I know i'll feel better tomorrow." Remember, we all have bad days so good days will seem so much better! Otherwise, working out and eating healthy will increase the amount of dopamine (think that's the right term) lvls in your body, which is known as the "feel good" chemical in your brain.

2. The way i do it is to narrate my life and put a strange spin on everything, like fight club and scrubs. (fight club is a movie, scrubs is a sitcom) I would really check out fight club though its a great movie. But narrating my ownlife is fun because say a teacher is yelling at me, i kinda say how insecure they actually are and how they secertly love the thrive they get from the power of being able to control us and tell us off. Anway, just watch fight club.
