Questions for people using affirmations and visualisation techniques to overcome anxiety and low self-esteem?
How long did it take before you started noticing changes in your outlook, mood and behaviour (if at all)? Did you feel that it wouldn't work but stuck at it and found your perceptions gradually shifting to something more positive? To what extent do you feel it helped you?

1. Its a belief system. You have to believe, if you brain wash yourself into believing you will belieive.
2. Albert Bandura's (1977, & 1979) self-efficacy theory should sort you out, research it and it'll help you. Good Luck.
