Have you witnessed the power of affirmations?
I just began yesterday with a little inspiration from numerologist glynis Mccants. I write down a short phrase and repeat it for fifteen minutes. Does this really re-program your brain and have you seen this kind of thing work?

1. Only with the Bible and with God's gift of His Holy Spirit does this work completely.
2. Yes, it does: Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world…
It is a common brainwashing technique.
3. It is not that easy. My profession is as an accountant. I consider myself quite successful. I have been trained to look at financial ideas formulations, structures, on pieces of paper and find every nuance in them, what they say, what they don't, what the infer. It comes naturally and I have to stop myself, or my wife will dissecting every fact. I believe over time my synapses have been partly hardwired to do this. It is in my "genes".
Writing down a short phase for 15 minutes will not do it.
4. I am proof it works, five years ago I was working in a crappy book store, on the verge of homelessness and suicide. I began the affirmations, and really, if you juet repeat it five times in the morning and five in the evening it works. Today, I am living in California, have three books on e-book, a screenplay being considered at a studio a business manager and a whole lot of supportive people helping me get my dreams.
Maybe it's magic or some cosmic law, but really I think it's just that being positive puts you in the right mindset to follow your dreams and take risks. You will eventually believe your affirmations and move on to others and things will improve - if you stick with it. You can change anything you want, you just have to believe it. I think people just like being around positive people and are more willing to help them. Whatever it is, it works.
