If you say affirmations positive things to yourself does it help?
Like i am confident, i am strong i approve of myself etc do you start to beleive it? I really want to be more confident and outgoing.

1. yes it helps- but don't let that be the only thing you do- a good education will help your confidence, so does exercise and at least one encouraging friend or mentor.
2. Yes, the placebo was the best pill invented!
