Is law of attraction related to The Meta Secret?

I go online pretty often these days and I come across much talk about ‘law of attraction’ and about some secret called ‘The Meta Secret’. Not sure if there is any connection between the two but I do like to find out more about what these guys on the Internet are referring to. Can someone enlighten me?

1. The whole law of attraction secret idea is based on the ester hicks channeling's.

Many of these are free on line so why get it second hand from rip off artists.

2. Are you sure the law of attraction is related with the meta secret?

To me, law of attraction is about Cooperative Reality and Use the Power of Mind.
Maybe it`s defferents with The Meta Secret.

3. If there was a an actual law of attraction, wherein one had only to become conscious of that which his or her heart desired so as to attain the same then there would be no starving people in the world and few, if any materially poor persons either.

The reality seems to be that we each make choices and then we receive the consequences of those choices.

4. They are related. The Law of Attraction believes about the power of thought energy and that positive and negative thinking bring about positive and negative physical results, respectively. When you uncover The Meta Secret, you learn how to see beyond your physical and let you control your outside world from the inside.

I am reading the book - The Meta Secret. This book basically talks about the 7 laws and one of the them is Law of Attraction. There is also a DVD version that I have yet to watch. Do check out more @ http://themetasecret.com/, especially the trailer and youtube video.
